The unselfish effort to bring cheer to others will be the beginning of a happier life for ourselves.” — Helen Keller

In a bid to give back to the community, the Epsilon fraternity decided to paint one of the schools in its community and mark a zebra crossing to ease the crossing of the busy road particularly during peak hours.

The project took place at Vallerian Nursery and Primary School located in Kibuli and is approximately 200m from the Epsilon offices. The construction department took lead in the works particularly the zebra crossing dimensions and placement.

The children at the school were delighted and thrilled to have their classroom blocks painted with different colors and little animations added to them.

The CSR Project was centered around the community however, colleagues at Epsilon also looked at it as a team building event as its nurtured cooperation and communication during the activity.

We received a letter of appreciation from the headmaster of the school.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT CSR PROJECT…
